Kalbak-Tash XXIV (A-47)
Description
This is a short vertical inscription consisting of 9 thin signs; its length is 8,7cm, the height of the characters is 1-2cm. It was discovered by V.D : Kubarev in 1987. It was discovered by I. L. Kyzlasov anew in 1994; he studied it also in 2001.

Transliteration: s²(š²)čgn¹ :z(?)j²s²(š²)uq(oq)
Transcription: s²(e)čg(ä)n¹ : azuq
Translation: (I am) lost, looking (for the true way), (I wrote this).

I. L. Kyzlasov notes that there is constant switch between front and back consonants in this inscription. “..... An additional difficulty is that the sixth rune has a special, probably, a cursive form; its sound meaning can only be guessed. The only landmark that can be used for dividing the line into words is a very clearly written word divider in the form of a colon». (Kyzlasov 2002: 133–134; 2004: 133–137)
