Kalbak-Tash XXIII (A-46)
Description
This is a vertical inscription consisting of 20 signs, the length of the line is 27,7cm, the height of the characters is 1,0-2,3cm. It was discovered by V.D. Kubarev in 1987. Д. Д. Vasil’ev considers Kalbak-Tash XXIII and XXIV to be one inscription consisting of two lines. In the first line (corresponding to Kalbak-Tash XXIV), he could recognize only 4 runes, but he could not read them correctly; in the second line (corresponding to Kalbak-Tash XXIII), he saw 18 signs. The inscription has number А-47 in his publications. In his article, D.D. Vasil’ev used a copy of V.D. Kubarev (Kubarev & Jacobson 1996: fig. 384).
